Welcome!

Welcome ! This is the website for phD students and postdocs of the Evolution Ecology and Paleontology lab (EEP), in Lille.

We mainly aim to contribute to the research on the origin and evolution of biodiversity and paleo-biodiversity, in relation to environmental changes at various time scales. To that end, we use various techniques in population genetics and genomics, evolutionary ecology, paleontology and paleoecology.

Among other themes, we work on the evolution of reproductive systems in plants and its consequences on the evolution of genomes, the evolution of paleobiodiversity in relation to environmental changes in the Paleozoic and the identification of acclimatization or adaptation processes within populations of marine plants and annelids in response to contemporary global change.
